A weekly drop-in 5Rhythms dance class

Come and sweat, come and let go, as you move your feet and empty your week. This is an hour and a half dance class to come and dance to wonderful music, to release all your stress, to get a workout, to give yourself the chance to re-discover who you are moment to moment.

We come together to dance deeply into our own skin. We move to begin to know ourselves and find out who, what and why and to let it all go into the tumble dryer of the dance.

Each class is an opportunity to dance into the amazing map of Gabrielle Roth's 5 Rhythms and to allow your needs to be physicalized as they rise up through your marrow and muscles. Real healing begins when we commit to ourselves and our dance. So however or whomever you are, gift yourself an opportunity to dance out the known and unknown. Dance to find your centre, to mingle with the crowd and to make myths real with shape, breath and sweat. On this dance floor everything is possible. All shapes and sizes are welcome. Teenagers to elders. No dance experience necessary.

The Snakeskin Shuffle

A 3 day 5 Rhythms shamanic dance workshop

Shake off old habits and shed the weight you've been carrying around in your bones.Transmute poisons to elixirs and do the snakeskin shuffle to get back in touch with your vibrant instinctive essence. Using the catalytic 5 Rhythms and artwork we will dance our way out of the fogs of stuckness in search of spirit.

We dance to become whole. We dance to re-member. We dance to become present and as we do so ,we remind ourselves of the beauty of being human.

In this 3 day workshop  we will  focus on the physical and the metaphysical . Dancing so we retrieve life essence that has escaped us and communing with animal allies who will inform our work together.

We will be exploring the journey between the known and the un-known. The dark and the bright serpents. The dark and light poisons. Welcoming home soul parts into soul remembering. So that the marriage between these twin worlds is fully integrated, embodied and alive.

Pre-requisites 30 hours minimum of 5 Rhythms with an accredited teacher and to have read The Way of the Shaman by Michael Harner and Soul Retrieval by Sandra Ingerman.
